Dr. Jangus Whitner is Director of 340B Policy & Compliance at Apexus, HRSA’s Prime Vendor for the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program. In this role, he provides 340B policy-to-practice, compliance, and education support to all stakeholders through virtual and in-person education, site visits, and call center escalation responses. In addition, he executes policy and marketplace trend analysis. Prior to Dr. Whitner’s role at Apexus, he was the Director of Pharmacy Services for a large community health center
in central Ohio. Dr. Whitner is a member of the board of directors of the National Center for Farmworker Health, founder and immediate past chair of the Ohio 340B FQHC Consortium, and an advisory board member of the Healthcare Administration/Management Program at Franklin University. Dr. Whitner earned both his BSPS and PharmD degrees from The University of Toledo and his Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Franklin University. He also completed two years of post-graduate pharmacy residency training.
