Gina D. Moore, PharmD, MBA is the Vice Dean for Administration and Operations and Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has served as course director and primary lecturer in the Pharmacy Law and Regulatory Standards course for over 15 years and has authored a book chapter on pharmacy law in Colorado. She is past-president of the Colorado Pharmacists Society (CPS) and has served as Legislative Chair for CPS for the past six years. She has led a number of bills to expand pharmacy practice in Colorado through the creation of Statewide Protocols (SB16-135), reimbursement opportunities, and led a task force for sunset of the Colorado Pharmacy Practice Act, which modernized a number of aspects of pharmacy practice in Colorado and allows pharmacists direct prescriptive authority for a number of conditions. Dr. Moore has served as co-primary investigator on a grant from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to improve opioid prescribing practices in Colorado and has also worked as an expert witness for the DEA.
