Kelli practiced law for 20 years, earning her MS from the University of Florida's Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy program, regulatory track (Fall 2024). Her law practice included representing corporate and individual clients in front of administrative agencies. She guided clients through agency processes and overturned unfavorable decisions (26 administrative decisions related to one issue vacated at once!) and helped confirm favorable outcomes, participating in appeals to the Illinois Supreme Court.
Kelli's research interest is preserving regulatory agency expertise despite decreasing judicial deference. She has taught at the DePaul University College of Law for 16 years and previously taught and directed a predatory lending program at The John Marshall Law School (now University of Illinois at Chicago). She has extensive experience in administrative law, corporate organization, and finance. She is working on emerging issues in immigration and biotechnology. Kelli provides consulting services to select clients.
Kelli will finish a research PhD and seeks an interesting program.
