Joel Ferre represents the United States in fraud and controlled substance dispensing cases. His cases range from multi-million-dollar complex healthcare fraud to prescriber and pharmacy diversion. He recently received the Local Impact Opioid Enforcement Team Award from the Department of Justice. Before joining the Department of Justice, he was an Assistant Attorney General and Deputy Division Director of the Litigation Division where he represented the State of Utah. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah and his Bachelor of Arts from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where he is currently the Assistant Coach of the men’s soccer team.
